About this scale
Locrian nat.6 softens Locrian's instability with its natural major 6th. On guitar, some jazz players prefer this mode for improvising over iiø7 chords, its natural 6th allowing less tense melodic movements than pure Locrian while maintaining the modal atmosphere.
