About this scale

Locrian #2 is more stable than standard Locrian thanks to its major 2nd. On guitar, it is used over iiø7 chords in ii-V-i minor cadences. Its natural 2nd allows more fluid phrases than pure Locrian while maintaining the characteristic b5 ambiguity.
