About this scale
The minor 6 pentatonic introduces the major 6th into a minor context, creating a very characteristic jazz color on guitar. It sounds great over minor 6 chords and allows very refined open voicings. Widely used in gypsy jazz and jazz guitar to add color to minor phrases.
