About this scale
The dominant blues scale enriches the dominant pentatonic with the tritone. It sounds with maximum tension over V7 altered chords and tritone substitution dominants. Jazz-blues guitarists (Robben Ford, Larry Carlton) use it to create expressive tensions before the resolution.
