About this scale
Verdi's enigmatic scale is a theoretical construction with very complex harmonies. On guitar, it creates very unusual atmospheres difficult to anchor in a standard tonal context. Some progressive rock and avant-garde metal composers exploit it for its unpredictable, disorienting character.
