About this scale
The Hungarian minor (Gypsy minor) is at the heart of gypsy jazz guitar. Django Reinhardt and his successors (Stochelo Rosenberg, Biréli Lagrène) use it constantly in the Parisian manouche style. Its #4 and b6 give it that dramatic, romantic character so characteristic of the style.
