About this scale
The suspended pentatonic (no defined 3rd) creates floating, ambiguous atmospheres on guitar. Prized by John Scofield, Pat Metheny, and jazz-fusion guitarists for improvising over sus4 and add9 chords. On the neck, its positions easily overlap with major pentatonic shapes.
