About this scale
Raga Todi is one of the most complex and expressive ragas in Indian classical music. On guitar, its b2, b3, #4, and b6 create unusual tensions requiring great mastery. John McLaughlin returns to it regularly in his fusion compositions to create intense meditative atmospheres.
